Born Adejare Jesus-Jnr Olajide in Osogbo, Osun State Nigeria, Solifik , a multitalented musician and songwriter has always been a lover of good music as he was born into a family deep rooted in music. He grew up listening to all kinds of music from Fuji, juju, hip hop etc. He was spurned to take up music as a career in 1996 when he performed at a show at the Obafemi Awolowo University and did a tribute to Tupac and called it “Bye bye to Tupac”.
He studied music at the Obafemi Awolowo university where he increased his appetite and knowledge on the sweetness of music. After graduating from the University, he decided to take music seriously. He moved to Lagos and has worked with a few local artists. Solifik released his first single, ‘do ti do’ (the ABC of music) which was produced by Nelly P, and he went ahead to release his second single titled ‘joo o’ ft T code which was produced by Dj Zeez in Dec. 2008. He also did a remix to the popular hit song ‘Alhaji’ and titled it ‘Alhaja’
He has been signed under Raindrop Entertainment and now has a new single titled ‘yes boss’ ft Olamide and Produced by Sam klef.
The passion and zeal Solifik puts into his music are reflected in his lyrics, as he churns out breath taking and exciting melodies and rythms each time he holds the microphone.
